I was in the kitchen making my kids lunch when Bino finally made it back from getting Kelly. I don’t know how he talked Amber into letting her come visit but he did. Angel was beyond excited.

“Damn, you finally made it back?” I said, giving Bino the evil eye as I walked over and picked Kelly up. A thirty-minute trip turned out to be almost three hours.

“Hey, baby,” I said, hugging her. She was looking a little thin and the clothes she had on were filthy and too big. Her hair was uncombed and she looked dirty; nothing like she looked when she lived with us.

“Hey mama, I miss you,” Kelly said to me.

“I miss you too, baby.” I hugged her neck. “Come on, let’s go see Angel,” I said, taking her into the kitchen with the other kids.

Once we got in there they all screamed and ran to her. I told her to go wash her hands then fixed her something to eat. She began digging in as if she hadn’t eaten in forever. I just sat there watching her and once she was finished I took her upstairs and bathed her and did her hair. When I was finished with her I headed downstairs to find Bino standing on the front porch smoking a Blunt. He looked stressed. I’m assuming it’s because we hadn’t really been getting along lately. Even though he had been coming in a little earlier than before, I still felt he was hiding something.

“I’m about to go over to Shan house, then we going to the mall. You want me to take Kelly or leave her with you?” I asked him.

“I know she probably gonna want to go over there with you instead of staying here with me.”

I didn’t say anything else as I closed the front door. I headed upstairs and rounded up the kids. Bino was still outside on the front porch. Just as I was about to walk by he grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him. I damn near melted in that man’s arms. I loved his ass so much. He bear hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.

“Can we talk when you get back? I miss you and I’m tired of walking around like we’re strangers. I haven’t even had none of that good-good in months. You know a nigga miss that,” he whispered in my ear.

I rolled my eyes upwards. “Whatever Bino. You think you can go out and fuck that bitch then come back home and fuck me. I miss you too, but it don’t work like that, boo.” I let him know.

“Man, I swear I’m not fucking that girl. I go over there and see my daughter and that’s it.”

I knew Bino’s ass was lying but I didn’t have proof. I tried to free myself from him, but that only made him squeeze tighter.

“Move, Bino. You’re hurting me.”

“Can we talk when we get home later?” he asked me again.

I nodded my head and he tried to kiss me on the lips but I turned my head and he caught my jaw.
